Open Minded Chats - presenting our ecosystem
Bringing you experts and authorities
This program connects Calgarians with mental health organizations outside of a referral or crisis situation. We host sessions at Families Matter in NE Calgary, as well as across the city, promoting engaging conversations and the wealth of mental health resources in Calgary.
open minded chats - presenting our research
Presenting research with meaningful discussion
As there are hundreds of professional organizations and thousands of working professionals in Calgary, we aim to present a balance of perspectives on mental wellbeing and brain health. Speakers bring their insights and expertise on a wide range of topics.
open minded chats - Panel Discussions
Showcasing multiple levels and faces of the chosen topic
Sometimes we need to address difficult and complex topics, with the intent to foster compassionate discourse. By presenting a panel of experts and experienced professionals, we can reduce the tension and support an inclusive discussion on a diverse range of perspectives.
open minded chats - circle discussion
An inclusive experience allowing all to speak their mind
When considering a decolonized approach to learning, community building circles are an option that’s hard to beat. With time and space for everyone to contribute, we’re able to facilitate a meaningful exchange. This restorative practice has it’s roots in Indigenous traditions.
Reality is Relative
Helping you to manage stress
This interactive presentation turns your space into a mental wellbeing discovery zone! Through a series of activities, attendees can participate without having share their stories. Sometimes we’re not ready to speak on our personal experiences and this fun experience works with that.
